Catalina 14.2
The Catalina 14.2 is the perfect combination of day sailing comfort and racing performance for the active sailing family or couple. Stability and easy handling make the 14.2 an ideal boat to learn in, while the experienced skipper will enjoy the active one design racing class. The 14.2 is available in two keel designs: Centerboard model with easily retracted centerboard and kick-up rudder for beaching and easy trailer launching and the Keel model with high aspect cast lead keel, for storage on a mooring or dock. The 14.2 is built of hand-laminated fiberglass with molded-in nonskid, anodized aluminum spars, stainless steel rigging and quality hardware.

The Catalina Expo 12.5 is a fun machine. Thanks to the SmartRig® and Hoyt boom, getting underway has never been this quick and easy! There are no stays, no chainplates, and no halyards. Putting the boat away is also a snap, as both mast and boom are deck-stepped and removable by hand, without any tools, in minutes. This is one boat every member of the family and friends will want to sail all day long. The tapered one piece carbon fiber mast means more sail power, with less weight aloft. The rotating SmartRig mast acts as a reefing line and furling drum to shorten or increase sail effortlessly. The same line even rolls the sail completely around the mast for storage. The Expo 12.5 has a seat across the cockpit, perfect for a crew member who is just learning to sail, or just wants a comfortable place to enjoy the ride. Best of all the Expo 12.5 is a Catalina and is built with the same quality materials and attention to detail as every other model we build. Standard items include a one-piece fiberglass deck with molded-in non-skid and hand laid fiberglass hull. Full flotation inside the hull means the 12.5 is virtually unsinkable. The Expo 12.5 is perfect for the new or experienced sailor who want a great handling sailboat that is non-technical. Simple to rig, exciting to sail, the 12.5 is all about fun on the water.

Byte CII
The Byte trainer is beautifully built in GRP using a foam sandwich construction and weighs just 45.5KG. The high boom position enables the dagger board to be raised almost fully for easier launching and recovery. The mainsheet is sheeted from the centre of the cockpit directly to the mid-boom position so it doesn't catch on the transom which is a particular advantage especially when gybing downwind. The cockpit is large and self drains quickly, the high boom is a distinct advantage for taller sailors. The Byte has a Dacron sail and aluminium two part mast, it is suitable for training or racing and can be enjoyed by one or two people for leisurely cruising. The Byte is best suited to mid-weight sailors, Manoeuvring the boat on the trolley or around the dinghy park is very easy due to it's light weight.

Z420
Collaboration with the Best The new LaserPerformance collegiate Z420 has been designed to insure the future success of collegiate sailing through the collaborative efforts of many college coaches including Adam Werblow, Zack Leonard, John Mollicone, Greg Wilkinson, Mitch Brindley, Joel Hanneman, Justin Assad, Bill Healey as well as sailing industry designers, experts and racers such as Pete Levesque, Matt Braitsch, Rob Brooks, Ched Proctor and many others. Their work is evident in each and every innovation that the Z420 brings to the water. The Big Picture The results are distinctly evident when you sail the Z420. The team was able to shave 50lbs from weight of the existing C420 SCV and still make the hull 40% stiffer– so the levels of performance have completely jumped off the charts. The Z420 is also eminently more seaworthy because of its larger, enclosed, air-tight, forepeak which provides a higher level of safety. Attention to Detail Study the detail that has been included in the Z420: an integrated bow bumper, a keelson that is angled to account for the human factors involved in roll tacking, side tanks that have been angled to improve crew comfort and increase internal air volume, an angled and reinforced centerboard trunk cap for strength and ergonomics, increased radii in all corners to increase strength and rigidity of the structure and much more. Working with college coaches has also guaranteed a “turn-key” product! Built Tough from the Inside Out LaserPerformance has completely modernized its construction techniques in building the Z420. The hull and deck employ a modern laminate schedule that utilizes a ballistic core for both stiffness and durability. The Z420’s keelson is a solid closed cell foam structure that is “insert molded” in place when the boat is manufactured. Utilizing the infusion process, the Z420 has a solid backbone giving it strength from stem to stern. It is built to endure. Turning Heads on the Water The Z420 looks as good as it sails! The elongated and flattened foredeck, angled seat tanks, bespoke hardware, distinct color combinations and graphics all work together to complete the package. You wouldn’t want to be caught dead sailing anything else. And it’s Good for the Planet too The Z420 utilizes the infused molding process. What this means is that the molds are closed during the manufacturing process thus keeping volatile organic compounds, or greenhouse gasses, from escaping into the atmosphere. Additionally the resins used in the hull and deck are metered out so that each hull has the same amount of resin resulting in a consistent product and less wasted raw material finding its way to the landfill.

More importantly, its innovative hull features a sub-chine area designed to promote controlled planeing, ensuring every ride is a blast! The Bahia is low to invert, easy to right and re-board. A furling jib reduces sail plan quickly in building breeze. Durable and sturdy it can be comfortably beached, making it ideal for that weekend adventure!
