Topper Boss
When you want the ultimate in twin trapeze sailing you just have to try the BOSS. With it's extensive use of carbon fibre, long bowsprit and huge spinnaker, the BOSS is one of the fastest two-man skiffs in the world and is smply unsurpassed downwind. The BOSS is a sailboat without compromise. Designer Ian Howlett developed and refined his World Champion International 14's proven lines, lengthening and flattening to maximise the potential of the superlight, super-stiff carbon foam sandwich hull that the White Formula team perfected. Years of experience have been utilised in optimising and refining the rig and control systems. Every component and fitting have been rigorously examined for total performance, efficiency and elegance. Where no proprietary fitting would match the specification, custom versions have been designed and incorporated The country's top sail and spar makers have produced a rig that blends staggering amounts of power with a depth and sophistication and control never before achieved. "Simplicity, lightness, strength, elegance of design, efficiency, balance and class leading performance are the elements that have been refined and optimised alongside Ian Howlett's fantastic hull design. The BOSS is going to set the standards by which manageable, very high performance dinghies are judged for many years to come." The BOSS is the definitive expression of excellence from Topper International. Nothing else comes close!

Topper Spice
Sailing the SPICE is like being in a baby BOSS: smooth handling coupled with staggering speed. The deep rudder makes manoeuvering predictable and easy - even at low speeds - which is a great benefit on crowded start lines and tight mark roundings. The primary rig controls are based on the much admired BOSS and Buzz systems: the single ended vang (kicker) line is fed out under the mainsheet jammer so it is always adjustable from the wire. The much copied single line kite halyard and bowsprit system makes for quick hoists while the chute mouth in front of the jib means drops are hassle-free on both gybes. The sheet loads are light enough for everyone to cope with easily, yet there is enough to occupy even the best crews - especially those who have only sailed single wire boats! The most important aspect of the SPICE is that it is relatively forgiving - you can make quite a few mistakes without getting wet. You spend more time blasting and less time swimming! This makes it much less frustrating than other twin wire boats (or others of similar performance) so you can get into your racing much quicker. And if you've only sailed single-wire boats before, you'll find trapezing next to your crew much more civilised: tactical discussions, polite requests and even warnings don't have to be shouted to be audible! In short, the SPICE is for ordinary people who want an extraordinary experience.

Topper Buzz
Buzz is fast, fun and forgiving. Designer Ian Howlett strived to achieve a huge ‘grin factor’ and the Buzz delivers! It is really an outright racer. Yet Buzz is so simple to rig and sail that it is accessible to allcomers. Buzz has fun and excitement built into every inch of her ultra-modern and glamorous 14 feet (4.20m). It is the ultimate trainer for the young and not so young to develop their asymmetric and trapezing techniques. Sailing the Buzz is pure simplicity. Pure joy. It has rapidly gained converts in clubs up and down the country. Ideal for young entrants into performance sailing, it is also attracting many couples to the ever growing class fleets.

Topper SL16
Last year, Sirena was selected by the French Sailing Federation to produce the official Catamaran for youths, the SL15.5, which was already a very popular Catamaran being used in many sailing schools in France. Yves Loday and Sirena decided to develop a new Catamaran which would be compatible with the SL15.5 but with a bigger rig in order to be used by teenagers, mixed crews and adults. This is the SL16. The SL16 has the same platform as the SL15.5 but a bigger rig and a powerful main sail. The advantage of this compatibility is that the sailing program may be changed often and the platform could be used by different crews of differing size and weight. Sirena is the master licensee of the SL16.

Topper Blaze X
The new X generation Blaze is the successful result of a recent major development program. A number of refinements to the outstanding Blaze now make it the only sensible choice for club sailors seeking an ultra-modern high performance singlehander while maintaining precise and forgiving handling

Topper Topaz Magno
Topper MD Martin Fry first outlined his vision for a wide-appeal, low cost, mass production family dinghy to designer Ian Howlett and designer/builder Rob White nearly four years ago. The concept called for a totally modern sailboat that was appealing to all members of a family and was user friendly from day one. The concept called for a totally modern sailboat that was appealing to all members of a family and was user friendly from day one. Above all it had to be seriously tough and readily affordable. The average modern family 14 footers start at £6000. The Magno is expected to retail for significantly less representing outstanding value for money. Much of the cost saving has been achieved by utilising the revolutionary hull construction methods as pioneered by Topper when producing the hugely successful Topaz. This same technique is now being used to produce the new baby Taz and the Magno. More information on this unique construction method can be found here. The introduction of the Magno makes gennaker performance sailing easy. The boat is simplicity itself to rig and launch, the fantastic control systems are childs play, and the Topaz level construction quality guarantees the lowest maintenance family sailboat ever produced. The dynamic yet forgiving Howlett hull is married to an extremely controllable rig that is perfect for less experienced sailors but will also provide that extra oomph on demand. As you set sail for the first time - the spacious and comfortable cockpit has a secure and confident feel. As with all Howlett designs stability is reassuring and seasoned sailors will quickly appreciate the pedigree handling, impressive performance levels and high specification fittings throughout. Whether you are a top racer or a newcomer to sailing the Magno allows you to sail at your own pace! She will happily welcome the whole family aboard for a relaxed days sailing. The boat has comfortable capacity for four. The Selden gnav system makes for a roomy cockpit area. This clever hull design even allows you to remove the thwart seat from the centre of the cockpit to add even more space. The Topaz Magno is supplied with built-in storage compartments in the cockpit and the transom areas. The Magno is also perfect for teaching youngsters or beginners. The power source is a modern and easily handled rig and can even be reefed for less experienced crews or in high winds. The slab reefing main can be reduced or increased depending on the conditions and crew on the day. The furling jib means you can transform the Magno to a powerful singlehander and you can also keep the powerful gennaker under wraps until you are ready to unleash the ultimate adrenaline rush. The gennaker system is supremely efficient and even young sailors can raise or lower the gennaker on a single line launch as smoothly as the professionals. The Magno is a landmark design which promises to bring family sailing to a brand new audience in a value for money package that may never be matched again.

Topper Topaz OMEGA

In high winds the mainsail reefing system is a welcome feature and theoption of a furling jib means that the TRES can be transformed into a singlehander in minutes. A quick pull on the single-line gennaker system launch and the TRES takes off with blistering acceleration. Yet the loads on the gennaker can easily be managed by young sailors even in a big breeze. Even though the TRES may well be seen as the perfect introduction to high performance sailing it has many years of progression built-in. For mostcrews there may well never be a need to move on.

Toper Topaz Duo
The Topaz DUO offers sailors of all abilities the excitement of the new generation racing designs at unbeatable value for money. Slot in the aluminium deck beam, tapered single spreader mast, add the trapeze and powerful fully battened rig and you’re ready to go. Thoroughbred performance The Topaz Duo is large enough to offer thoroughbred performance, yet easily handled by lightweights and young sailors. The DUO will inspire confidence in those who are new to high performance sailing. The secret is the perfect combination of power and control - The Topaz DUO is the ultimate first trapeze sailboat. Hull design The Topaz hull is designed to be stiff and light making it ideal for a full-on modern two-sail rig. Additional built-in buoyancy and a higher freeboard than on competitors designs ensures that two people can enjoy perfect sailing without the boat taking on water over the transom or the bow nosediving. Rig The tapered mast is supported by an aluminium beam that slots into specially moulded recesses. The beam also provides a neat platform for control line and halyard cleats for the sophisticated rig. Big roach, fully battened main and high aspect ratio jib transform the TOPAZ into a two-person flyer with a pedigree performance feel - yet no loss of the outstanding stability and vice-free temperament of the una-rigged versions. Fast and forgiving The Topaz DUO provides exciting performance but can easily be handled by inexperienced crew. The responsiveness matches anything you’ll find on a top racing dinghy yet the DUO remains remarkably stable and forgiving.
