The new model 5700 Open is based on the same superb hull as the 5700 Walkaround. The 5700 Open is a new type of boat with two steering consoles. Here we have a boat that can be used for all kinds of day trips, fishing, swimming, water-skiing and transporting. There is ample room for the family, friends, fishing rods and even water-skis. The hinged windshield between the steering consoles enables access throughout the boat. The helmsman’s and navigator’s upholstered seats are rotating. A modern 80 hp Yamaha four-stroke engine gives adequate performance but if a larger engine is fitted, the hull handles well at speeds in excess of 40 knots.
