Here at Weltonfield we have been building boats for over 30 years and have helped many customers to realise their dreams. In total we have built nearly 70 narrowboats and have fitted out a number of wide beam boats as well. Our aim has never been mass production, with each one of our boats being individually tailored to the customer’s needs. We have built boats of all different lengths from 40’ to 70’ and from the traditional boat with a Gardner Engine in a central engine room to a number of ultra-modern boats. With a kitchen and saloon that is larger than found on many modern town houses and flats, the Tingdene Widebeam 66 offers true choice of a lifestyle afloat. In common with all models in the range, Colecraft builds the 66 to a very demanding specification laid down by Tingdene from its huge experience of operating marinas and managing the sale of boats. So you can expect a top grade ownership experience. In standard form the 66 offers a full 21ft saloon with galley and breakfast bar aft and large master bedroom and toilet shower forward. Options include a second cabin / office space. A complete home from home, the Widebeam 60 is perfect for explorations of broad river and canal navigations, or as floating accommodation in one of Tingdene's 10 marinas across the UK. Everything is generously proportioned, from the large galley and dinette aft, to a saloon with double skylight over that offers plenty of space for your own choice of loose furniture. All Tingdene Widebeams features panoramic bi-fold doors to the bow which fill the master bedroom with light, creating a bright and airy space. You can also opt for an office / second cabin which would be unattainable in an apartment of the same footprint and even a jacuzzi at the bow! This model is also available in 65ft and 70ft lengths. The flagship of the Tingdene Narrowboats range offers a huge 21ft open plan saloon, as well as well appointed galley and dinette aft, toilet shower room and double berth cabin forward. The design of these bespoke made boats, constructed by high quality builder Colecraft, is specific to maximise the exterior and interior space available. The Square stern gives exterior seating with a table to allow alfresco dining. With the optional rear canopy fitted, this area becomes a spacious addition to the living accommodation in all weathers. To the bow the boat features a sheltered area, which allows for additional loose seating. The Narrowboat 52, developed in partnership with high quality builder Colecraft, offers plenty of interior space but in a compact, well designed and manoeuvrable form enabling easy use on the canal system. Living aboard is an affordable option and offers the opportunity for a second home, weekend retreat or student accommodation to cover University. Tingdene Marinas & Boat Sales locations are close to some of the most popular universities in the UK. Clever design with configurable fitted furniture makes the most of the space and there is room for entertaining and overnight guests. In common with all models in the range the 52 offers a modern, open plan kitchen and dining area, while the saloon features an overhead skylight to enhance the feeling of space and natural light. All windows and port lights throughout the vessels are double glazed and the steelwork is spray insulated for comfort in winter and summer. The boat's heating system is highly efficient and easy to use, removing the requirement for a wood burner, keeping the stylish, sleek interior clean.

The Narrowboat 46 provides a galley aft layout with a spacious saloon midships and double cabin forward. All windows and port lights throughout the vessels are double glazed and the steelwork is spray foam insulated. A large skylight ensures that the living quarters never feel cramped or imposing. Working in partnership with high quality builders, Colecraft, Tingdene ensures that all owners of its boats enjoy maximum comfort through the inclusion of modern features, such as a fully integrated heating system.

The Narrowboat 41 is the smallest model in the range and places the saloon in the bow, an established and popular layout for this size of narrowboat, enabling a second sleeping area to be accommodated with ease, as well as a full galley, comfortable toilet shower and double berth aft. All windows and port lights throughout the vessels are double glazed and the steelwork is insulated with spray foam to minimise condensation. The 41 shares the same distinctive styling as its larger sisters, developed in partnership with builders Colecraft and offering a very sheltered steering position aft and distinctive bow forward.

We at Collingwood are one of the few companies that construct canal boats from scratch. We build all our own shells. We then fully insulate them prior to lining the walls and ceilings whilst installing all your electrical wiring be it 12 volt or 240 volt. We also take care of all your plumbing needs from water for the bathrooms, central heating, waste tanks and plumbing for any of your gas requirements such as oven and hobs. Of course, we also fit all required tanks for fuel, fresh water or waste water. We then fit engines, generators and battery banks together with control panels for all the workings of your vessel. Should you wish us to fully fit your dream, we undertake all manufacture and fitting of kitchen or galley, bedroom and bathroom furniture together with all partitions required within the vessel to create your living space. Needless to say, we will fit out your bathroom or shower room together with wash basins and sanitary. Should a wood or coal burning stove be required then we would fit it for you. Should bow or stern canopies be required then your wish would be our command. We will then paint your vessel to a high standard and to a paint scheme of your choice using the following colours:

The Saloon area of the Abode is approximately 15ft in length and features a massive 50″ TV and DVD player with sound bar in a built in surround under gunwale. Also in the saloon is a traditional style oak fire place with Morso multi fuel stove with tiled surround and black hearth. Through a small corridor can be found a spacious bathroom with hardwood glazed privacy door. This features a large quadrant shower cubicle with thermostatic shower bloc. Adding to the luxury is a full size bath with tiled surround. A whirlpool option is available. Also included is a contemporary square ceramic wash basin with stylish taps fitted to an oak vanity cupboard with granite worktop. Also in the bathroom is a full height cupboard with shelves throughout and glazed hardwood doors. A contemporary towel rail and ceramic tiled floor add the finishing touches. Walking through a angle hardwood privacy door is the master bedroom. A well designed room with a built in king size bed which has hinges for easy access to good storage below. Bedside cabinets can be found on either side of the bed. Three full height wardrobes with full length mirrored hardwood doors together with a full sized chest of drawers give the owner good quality storage. A corner cupboard and glass shelving can be found above. Wallpapered cabin sides give a warm and cosy feel. As a optional extra, a pop up 32″ TV at the foot of the bed is also available. A 2nd bed option is available on the 70ft model. This would be a spacious room with fixed single or double with two wardrobes and a large writing desk with drawers.

The Viking 32, is the largest boat of the range, yet surprisingly easy to handle and manoeuvre. With the benefit of a totally separate aft cabin with full standing headroom, full size adult berth and separate shower compartments aft and forward.

The Viking 28 offers all the benefits of a much larger craft with the added attraction of a narrow canal beam,allowing extended cruising of the inland waterways. The 28 combines attractive styling with the advantages of modern design and layout.

The Viking 23 is a canal beam, 4 berth family cruiser offering comfortable accommodation with a level of specifications normally found in a larger more expensive craft

The Viking 21 is a 4 berth narrow beam cruiser ideally suited to inland waterways/canals. The cabin is very spacious for a boat of this size with a well-planned galley & separate toilet/wet room. The attractive cockpit is roomy and well laid out.

The Seamaster 28 offers outstanding space, specification and great value for money, the stylish Seamaster 28 will sleep up to 6 people in comfort. There is a practical L shaped galley and a very spacious wetroom for a boat of this size. It comes with a choice of inboard diesel engine or outboard. Standard specification includes hot and cold water, shower, full cooking facilities, fridge, 240v shorepower, folding windscreen and stereo CD player. The Seamaster 28 has all the space needed for entertaining in the main saloon or the large cockpit; she is certainly a boat to aspire to.

With the NEW 275/275 OPEN you can have the internal layout to your own personal choice. You can have an open plan or a forward bulkhead so you can have a private bedroom in the front. There is a full galley with loads of worktop space and storage. It has a very spacious wet room with a sink and toilet. The Cockpit area is also very spacious and open with a twin helm seat and a table for outside dining. As standard there is a folding screen and a rear door in the stern for easy access onto the boat.
