Standard Deck Plan
Once aboard, the sense of seagoing quality and perception of fine hand craftsmanship is more than skin deep. Extensive use of matched grain teak joinery, teak and holly cabin soles and attention to traditional nautical detailing highlight an interior offering 6'5" headroom throughout. The standard, single cabin forward is ideal for a cruising couple. Features that will be appreciated include: a luxurious queen-sized, island berth accessible from both bedsides, voluminous storage capacity and an adjacent bathroom with separate stall shower and mirrored medicine/makeup cabinet above the sink.
A main focal point is the spacious pilothouse, rivaling those on much larger vessels. Besides a large chart table, there's a long settee, ideal for off-watch naps. A pull out base and cushions can be added to increase the settee width. The raised dining table, with underneath storage, aft of the helm, is a great place to dine, converse with the captain and see the view. An optional day head, or the standard, hanging wet locker is to starboard.
Aft is a light and airy salon with five opening windows. The generous size, dinette and hi-lo table, starboard settee, well-planned, U-shaped galley, ample storage and easy engine room access make this area ideal for entertaining.
With standard power, the Eagle 40 cruises easily at 8 - 11 knots in a demonstration of its economical, fuel efficiency.

Our double cabin model includes: a well-designed, master, double cabin forward and guestroom for two. The master stateroom features a portside double berth, hanging locker and dresser to starboard. An opening portlight and a deck hatch ventilate the room.
In the guest stateroom, located to port of the forward passageway, a convertible settee with vinyl cushions provides upper & lower single berths. A hanging locker and a dresser provide good storage for extended cruising. Ventilation circulates through an overhead hatch and a portlight.
Each cabin has easy access to the bathroom that is located to starboard off the forward passageway. A stall shower, washbasin, electric toilet and mirrored door, medicine/makeup cabinet are standard.
About Transpacific Marine:
Almost five decades of experience in building sail and power yachts in Asia is limited to very few companies, and TRANSPACIFIC MARINE CO. LTD. is one of these few companies. Forty seven years ago, Nancy and Ennals Ives, Transpac's founders, began living in Taiwan, while building 38' and 40', wooden sailboats.
Sailing their own boats in California, prior to living in Taiwan, prepared Nancy and Ennals, to understand the necessity of high quality and strong, safe methods of construction needed in ocean going yachts. Their experience in sail and powerboat cruising and construction, and knowing how yachts will perform in various weather conditions, has contributed to the success of Transpac yachts.
Early in the life of Transpac, the Ives recognized the necessity to involve a local partner. Consequently the current President, prominent Taiwan business woman, Mary Chou, joined the company. After Ennals' passing in 2006, Nancy has retired a year after that, she is still involved as a consultant.
In the 1990s, Transpac moved its building operation to the Eastern China city, of Ningbo, where they continue production of the Eagle Motoryachts.
Parts and equipment for Eagles are purchased in the U.S., Taiwan and in China. U.S. Coast Guard Standards are followed in fitting out the yacht, including the engine wiring and fuel systems. All systems are thoroughly tested at sea before shipment.
The Transpac staff has excellent communication skills in English, Chinese and Italian, ensuring that each buyer's request is accurately explained to the workforce. Limited production enables Transpac to pay attention to the small details, as well as to the overall construction and outfitting of the entire boat.
