Part of the new hull design includes special running surface contours that extend beneath both sides of the swim platform and create virtually three-point contact with the water at high speeds. As a result, when properly trimmed, most of the hull is truly riding on air.

The 195LR performs so nicely that, with a light load, it surpassed 60 mph with a V-6 engine. Look as you will, but you're not likely to find a better performing, more fuel-efficient, family boat anywhere. It's that good.
