The GT54 is definitely for ocean going. The men who made the GT54 present it:
Jean-Louis Garcia, founder of Garcia Yachting: “For years I have been thinking about this project: 30T at 10 knots with a fuel consumption below 8 litres an hour, what a challenge! 40 years of experience, a fruitful collaboration with the new boatyard management team, a great relationship with the architect and the designers persuaded me to launch the project. I am proud to introduce the GT54.”
Guy Saillard, architect: “For more than 25 years, in all my projects, I included as many energy saving solutions as I could. It has become second nature to me and essential that all my projects be energy self-sufficient. That is why I am thankful to Garcia Yachting for having been so concerned with the environmental impact of the GT54 design.”
For more than 12 years, Franck Darnet has been the head of an agency specialized in the interior design of pleasure boats and yachts. His associates, designers and architects are all sailors.Franck studied at the Boulle School, his expertise has been acclaimed throughout the yachting world and with his profound knowledge of the sea, he has been able to maximise the potential of the GT54, both below and on deck.
“For me, the GT54 is the realisation of a bold concept, which shows its true worth in today’ s world.”
