ZODIAC MILPRO SRA RANGE MULTIPURPOSE BOATS Zodiac Milpro™ Sea Rib™ Aluminium are built for demanding Navies and Military units, Fire Brigades, Life Saving organizations. SRA boats have been proven in extreme conditions and various environments from the ice of the Baltic sea to the heat of the Arabian Gulf. The versatile deck track system makes countless deck configurations possible, with quick and easy reconfiguration for different missions. The D-shape tube fitted as standard, and long list of optional equipment including gun-mounts, cranes, T-Tops, foam collars, dive doors and other unique features make the SRA the perfect boat for varied working and operational environments.

Open top, high speed working launches, excellent all round visibility, easy to operate and handle at all loading and applications.

Initially developed as a prototype inshore rescue boat for testing by the RNLI the Stormforce 8.4 open RIB operates in a class of it's own. It has taken many forms over the years but has proven most popular in the patrol and seas-safari sectors. It is a wide bodied RIB which can carry up to 14 persons and can be powered by either outboard or diesel stern-drive. It was the first single engine RIIB in the range to offer endurance beyond 300Nm.

Stormforce 7.4 Open With the development of the stern-drive and it's arrival on the RIB scene in the mid 90's Redbay Boats knew that this was a development opportunity that could not be missed. Aware that their existing designs would not carry the weight it was time for team to go back to the drawing board. The results were astounding, the hullform in our opinion is the smoothest and driest in the industry.

Stormforce 650 A late arrival to the family this model was borne from the requirement to deliver a standardised product offering with a more asthetically pleasing finish. In principle it is an enhanced 6.5 which benefits from an internally moulded deck and console arrangement. The streamlined manufacturing process of this boat means it is available on a very short lead time. The beauty of this model is it's simplicity, the perfect boat for someone new to RIBing.

Stormforce 6.5 Open Developed from the extremely successful Stormforce 6.1, the 6.5 was a logical and natural progession for Redbay Boats. Initially the brief was to increase the carrying capacity of both crew and fuel, it was borne out of a necessity to deliver longer range cruising. It was not long before this model had formed a reputation all of it';s own. It is retained today to offer versatility to the open RIB range. Stormforce 6.5 Canopy In the late 90's Redbay Boats led the industry by creating their revolutionary wraparound canopy range of boats. It is a design which they have perfected and one which many another RIB builder aspires to but can never truly replicate. On the Stormforce 6.5 it allows six crew to sit in a dry comfortable environment, regardless of what the wind and waves may be throwing at the boat

This is the model that started it all. Developed back in 1990 the Stormforce 6.1 was the first attempt at a RIB boat by Redbay Boats. The hull proved itself vey capable in it's early days as an offshore racer. It has since been used for everything from family fun to costal patrol including many variations in between.

This is a fun boat as the pictures show it is fast, agile and safe. It is very light and easy to manoeuvre both on the water and on the slipway. Set up as the picture the boat will carry 5 people with two on the consol, it can be towed easily with a small car. it is ideal as a small rescue boat and for family fun and can be used to carry extra luggage when travelling to your holiday destination. Our ideal package would be with a 15Hp or 18Hp 4 stroke motor.

This is our own very unique design. Special hull features have created a quick light and very agile rib. Capable of carrying 5 adults, but can easily be launched and retrieved by one person. Excellent for water skiing and towing, but strong and stable in adverse conditions. Unique inverted strakes give excellent grip in the turn and extra speed on the run. This boat is a fantastic all-rounder for family sports, safety boat duties, commercial purposes There are no hidden extras the boat comes with hull and transom eyes, paddles, pump grab lines and six sponson handles. We can also customise the boats to suit a customers needs. As with all our ribs we can supply from range of consoles but most popular is our sport consol. This can hold two 25l fuel cans as well as any extras that you may wish to carry. T he boat features a generous anchor locker and sturdy moulded non slip deck.

The 480SR was originally based on the 550 and is essentially a shortened version with the addition of 50 cm tubes rather than 47 cm tubes fitted to the other craft. The sponsons are set at an angle to prevent drag and spray over all creating a smooth and soft ride. At slow speeds the craft settles onto the sponsons which afford a high degree of stability. The 480 is a light easy to handle, launch and recover and is the ideal boat for families who do not require the space or weight of the 550. Ribs make a versatile platform as safety/rescue boats for diving, transport, fishing, water skiing or just exploring.

The 550SR was originally based on a modified -vee mono hull design but has been refined over the years to minimise wetted area at speed. The sponsons are set at an angle to prevent drag and spray over all creating a smooth and soft ride. At slow speeds the craft settles onto the sponsons which afford a high degree of stability. They are designed for beach/surf launching and are built to be strong, to shed water easily and to be agile. The 550 is the ideal family sized boat and has many applications, commercially and domestically, they are safe and can handle seas that you would not dream of testing in a ski boat. Ribs make a versatile platform as safety/rescue boats for diving, transport, fishing, water skiing or just exploring.

The Sea Ranger 540 RTB Essentially they are a solid GRP boat speed boat designed like a rib. They are manufactured using a deck and hull mould with a strong internal GRP chassis chassis. History behind the design The idea behind the design came from South African Sport fishermen who wanted a boat that could stay afloat in the roughest of conditions and would take the punishment of the kind of equipment they are using for large sport fishing . This also gave the opportunity to use the sponsons for storage. There was a need for speed and agility for launch and retrieval through big surf as well as stability when the boat is at station hence the gull wing hull design. The 540 RTB (rigid tube boat) is one of the designs we identified in South Africa as being a boat for the future. They are especially designed for beach launch and retrieval through the heavy surf of the Indian Ocean coastline. Thanks to the South African fisherman we now have an all round sports rib that has stunning looks and performance as well as greater storage.
