Windward Cutter
Honnor Marine builds the Original Devon Scaffie, Dabber, Lugger, Longboat, Coaster and Gig (In 1998 Honnor Marine changed the range name of these boats from Drascombe to Original Devon). In addition to our Devon range we build the Tamarisk 19, Cape Cutter 19 and Windward Cutter. We also specialise in refurbishing, upgrading and supplying parts for Drascombe and Devon boats of all ages. If you are looking for a Devon or Drascombe boat, we currently have a wide selection of Brokerage boats available.

Devon Longboat
This boat was originally called the Drascombe Longboat and then re named to Original Devon Longboat. The Longboat is light and elegant and can be sailed with ease and agility. She is 6.63m (21ft.9?) in length. With its clinker style construction, a feature of all our boats adds rigidity to the hull , as well as good looks. Fully rigged, there’s 15.97 sq mtrs (172sq ft ) of sail to power the boat through the water. A 6hp out board motor is recommended to use when the wind drops. The Longboat is roomy and stable enough for fishing expeditions. With a shallow draft, kick up rudder and steel reinforced stem, she is the ideal boat to explore coves and backwaters with alacrity.

Devon Lugger
Probably the best known and most admired open dayboat. The Lugger typifies our range. Our craftsmanship finish with bronze fittings and beautiful hardwood trim places this boat in a class of it’s own. The Lugger is a 5.72m (18ft 9″) Trailer Sailer. Easy to launch and sail, especially with our own roller coaster trailer solo or fully crewed. The loose footed sails and sliding gunter rig are easy to handle – there’s no boom to look out for! It’s a dayboat which you can convert with a sprayhood- it’s a sailing boat, a rowing boat, or with recommended 4-6hp outboard motor, a very manoeuvrable run about.

Devon Dabber
Honnor Marine is the only builder of a Category C Dabber. The smallest of the split-rig boats, the Dabber has all the energy and quality of finish as her sisters. A compact 4.72 sq mtrs (15ft 6? ) the Dabber carries an extremely useful 10.96 sq mtrs (118 sq .ft ) of sail with the help of a bowsprit and bumpkin, she is beautiful to handle. When the wind drops, a 2-4 hp engine will drive the Dabber without any difficulties. Or you can use the pair of oars from either or both positions. The Dabber is a surprisingly roomy family craft, and she has plenty of storage space. The C.E. Mark approved stability and buoyancy, a safety feature of all our boats. The Dabber can be covered and left on a mooring or hitched up behind a car and towed very comfortably. With a Dabber flexibility is the word.

Devon Scaffie
The Scaffie is fast and full of adventure and is just as capable as the bigger boats. The Scaffie is built to the same proud standards of craftsmanship evident in all our craft. The single standing lug-sail is loose footed for safety and simplicity, it gives the Scaffie a really brisk performance. A 2-3 hp outboard is all you will need to drive this boat along. The Scaffie makes an excellent rowing boat, and is light to pull and easy to hold on course. An optional sloop rig is also available. Though only 4.5 m ( 14ft.9? ) overall, the Scaffie is quite roomy, because there is no centre-plate to fill up the cockpit.
